shock absorbers
Got a set of '67 and later shocks that are in deplorable shape. I see in the AMCA mag that IKON is making shocks, but everything after '67 is for sportster. Anyone know of a supplier for the dampeners? Is thee any suitable substitute? Or are the sportster dampeners the same as big twin? If they are, maybe I can convince the supplier to sell me just the dampeners.

Re: shock absorbers
I did look thru the knowledge base and it seems as though there are no replacement cartridges available, but the discussion in the knowledge base is 6 years old. Maybe the vendor that advertises in the AMCA mag has cartridges that fit. Gonna write them and see....will report back.

Re: shock absorbers
Some late model Dyna Glide shocks are 13" length. I know for a fact that Dyna speced 12" shocks work especially well on the 1973 and newer disc brake swing arms....

Re: shock absorbers
Icon in Australia bought out koni so they say. They have the damper in 12" only. But if you put in dyna they come up. Sporty springs and dampening may be soft for the big twin. A mate uses dyna 13." And adds some spacers to run 2 up. He also had a bloke Jimmy Sonic from Outercycle Melbourne make the full length covers. Jimmy can make any thing but semi retired. Off the Subject i sent a 52 Pan to him to have upswept fishys made and as i hade a electronic dissy in it he points to the Voes switch and says to the owner whats that? It was explained and he shook his head and watch out next he (Hogey) will have an Evo in it. Lol
