i have a s&s super e i want toput on my 69 flh i would like to use the origonal internal handle bar cable any one have ideas

I recently did exactly this as an exercise... I removed all the springs on the throttle shaft. Then I drilled a hole in the existing throttle cable "wheel" and mounted a stock wire block to accept the solid inner throttle wire. I'll note that while the setup worked, the position of the wire block I chose was not ideal to allow a full smooth travel... and you absolutely do not want something to possibly hang in this location, especially when trying to throttle down!
My final solution was to figure out why my stock Tillotson carb was not functioning properly, and then correct it. The Tillotson
has been a great carb on this bike, especially in comparison to the Super E and a Bendix.
