1967 OEM Exhaust

#1

Post by hdmarkus »

Hi everybody,

maybe a stupid question! I try to find out what is the factory standard for exhaust on a 1967 FLH. Is it the cigar or fishtail style exhaust? I know that the side draft exhaust was an extra which must be ordered separately.

Best regards
Markus

The side opening, new for '67 but standard with duals. The cigar was used on single exhaust systems, mostly police units.

You are correct Rubone. Our Cape Town Police unit used 1200 police specials with hand gearchange into 1975. Exhausts were single two into one with the cigar shaped muffler.
