Despite the number cast into it that is a '47 up style step and should be bare aluminum. The earlier '36-'46 is rectangular cast iron with the long direction forward.
Nice looking step.

No, it means it is not which you could have figured out if you read my post.
It was used for 47,48.49,50.51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,60,61,62,63,64, 65,66. Then the step was dropped.
As to worth, here is an original. Since yours is black and they didn't come that way it may be original or a reproduction. Hard to say. Do you have the box?
