1949 WL - Rear Brake Pedal Angle

Is my rear brake pedal supposed to angle OUT, away from the bike? Seems like this could be, yet another, issue with my bike....

You'd be bent out of shape too if you had been stomped on for 73 years.

My guess is that it's simply a sign of old age.

So it DOES look not correct?
Supposed to be more of a 90 degree look, I suppose?

No, the pedal should be straight.
