What is a fair asking price for a 1997 Fatboy with 13,850 miles? Origonal Paint, nothing special on it.

I can't speak to the value of the bike, but I have a '94 Fatboy that I bought brand new from the dealer. It's the best motorcycle I've ever owned, and I get more power out of that little ol' 80-incher than some friends get out of their hot-shot cop-bike Twinkies. I've got around 75,000 touring miles on it-- I do not ride it on Sundays or to go get milk, I have other bikes for those chores. The base gasket is starting to weep a little now (bike is 20 yrs old) which is expected. Just saying, in my opinion, the 80-inch Evo is the best motor Harley ever produced....!
As for value, you can check out the want ads and CL to see what people are asking for a comparable model.

Prices seem to be quite low even on early twin cams, my wife was talking about selling her 2001 Deuce, she changed her mind when she found out they were going for about 6 grand...Mike

Prices are arbitrary and very dependent on region....
