Any ideas on how to seal
Any tried and true technique to seal this drain port on a early '82 ? It is tapped for a 5/16 bolt thread, not a pipe thread. I tried a grub screw with 3 Bond grey gasket compound as a sealant. It seeped . My next idea is after cleaning and chasing the threads is using this Permatex product on a new clean grub screw. Im not sure if the outer surface of the tappet block is flat enough to try a bolt & copper/ sealing washer ?

Re: Any ideas on how to seal
Never plan on using it again. Ive seen a wicking style of loctite before also. Im not sure why i have seepage from the set screw but the tappet block bolts haven't seem to leak. I would think it is about the same pressure in both areas? Thanks for the suggestion
