solo seat springs
I'm checkin out springs for my seat and was wondering if they would support my fat ass. I have the hairpin style and the 3" coils. It isn't mentioned of their load limits. Thanks Ron

Re: solo seat springs
In the late 1960s my hometown local chopper heroes typically rode bates solo seats with coil springs, and a P-pad on the back fender.
The hairpin springs are a fairly recent affectation.

Re: solo seat springs
I had 3" coil seat springs on a Triumph chopper I built a long time ago. Didn't take a week before my 200-plus pounds broke them.

Re: solo seat springs
Yup, coil springs on all my stuff back then, pretty much everyone did. I also weighed under 160# in my late teens and 20s...
