I made up a bracket and mounted this up front. It uses a common AC Delco PF-53 filter....

someone made a screw on filter adapter , mounted same location as stock. Use a chrome filter body and you have to take a second glance..rubber hoses involved, of course

I use an oil filter mount from a Norton and it’s attached to a plate I made that fits behind the gearbox. Here’s my cardboard template and a rough prototype plate which is about 5” x 2” x 1/4”. Front-most hole is 3/8” and the bolt also goes thru an existing hole in the trans mounting plate. Second hole is 5/16” and the bolt also goes thru existing holes in the trans mounting plate and the trans adjusting screw support.

Here’s a later version of the plate on the bike and the overall dimensions are probably close to the prototype. Between the 1/4” plate and the filter mount is a thin metal plate that extends over the filter. A hose clamp goes over the thin plate and around the filter. The hose clamp is visible in this photo.

Cool.
Very nice and tucked up outta the way.
I trust it does not extend below the frame rails.....
