Thanks for sharing!
In my "real" job -- I spend a lot of time with stuff and delight in seeing private collections.
What a nice and thoughtful treasure trove of source material.

I truly love books and have read every one I own. Which is a lot of them. The little wooden cabinet holds all the "Enthusiast from '20 through '50 by decade.

Re: Passion or punishment??
Yes, it is, but over a long time. I have over 600 Motorcycle related books and hundreds of vintage magazines. I started saving stuff like this as a teenager. And then there is the sales literature, riders handbooks, accessory catalogs, order blanks, dealer letters, shop dopes, dealer announcements, cut and mat books, postcards, ......
I read constantly, all kinds of subjects. During the last couple of years with the Covid shutdowns I have consumed about 150 novels, mysteries, classics, etc. I usually have a couple of books going at once. I don't do TV much, only movies I am interested in and a few good series. We don't have mainstream TV like dish or direct.

Re: Passion or punishment??
The biggest delight during Covid has been exchanging books and magazines with my buddies across the country. Not quite 150,:but not too far off. Novels, biographies, western histories and pretty much every issue of Cycle from mid60s to early 80s. It was great fun learning what book series were liked by each person. I was genuinely surprised a few times by people I’ve known for years.
I’m pretty positive none of us have television and if we are watching, it’s documentaries on YouTube.
There seems a direct connection between thinking mechanics and excessive reading.
Again, thanks for sharing. I especially like seeing the Art of the Motorcycle displayed proudly. That show was tremendous for us in Chicago.

A lot of great stuff I'd love to read there Robbie.
Only thing I see in common with my collection is the bottle of Crown and nearly empty glass.

One of my Ancestors was from Burgundy. He was a Cooper by trade and came to New Mexico in 1837, ten years before the US took over. His name was Jean Jeantete which was my Grandmothers maiden name.

Re: Passion or punishment??
@Rubone, if one day you want to come on the earth of your ancestors, I would love to receive you. This could be done during the legend motorcycle cuts. The next year for example.
If you are not afraid of an approximate English on my part.

@ Rubone
I see often see for sale on eBay:
Original Harley Dealer 1951 News Bulletin.
Could I have in digital version those of the year 1951?
As it is my fetish year, I would like to read these newsletters.
If it's possible.
I am a curious guy.
