1988 -1991 Sportster, and EVO carb float

#1

Post by neilw »

i am in search of a float for my 1991 Soft tail Evo. The float # is 27576-88 ,nd very hard to find . they were used from 1988 to 1991 on Sportsters, both 883, and 1200 models . Also on 1988 -1991 EVOs.
This float is cream in color and looks like 2 little barrels joined at the float needle.
The newer 1992 float will not fit, as the float bowl has a lightly different length.
I have another newer carb I'm using now, but would like to have my old original one again.
I'm in no hurry ,and have looked everywhere on the internet. no one seems to have one.

Can you make it easier on us? How about a pic of the floats, and a few more details of carb?

Neilw, you've got a PM incoming. Disregard, sorry for the bad info.
