Clutch adjustment

#1

Post by DaCs »

Try to adjust the clutch as closely as possible to the manual and it seems that if it works well, it does not hit the lever with the oil tank or with the top transmission, the pedal is hooked in the 2 positions. My question is whether, when activated, is this separation on the discs normal? I can even move the last one with my finger, or if they should have more friction and be closer together when activating the pedal?

Regards

The more separation the better. As long as you get full engagement with some free play in the pull rod you are golden.

Yep the dulcet tones of the plates jangling with the clutch all the way in is the concerto of angelic hosts and a reason to live.
