What are you using for clamps?

Remember the "clamps" at the heads do nothing to hold the pipes in place, and the pipes need to each be supported in at least two other points, unless using the original design 2:1 single exhaust, to keep them from moving, damaging the heads, and generally just not staying in place. Another turd from the MoCo, the head mounts were not fully corrected until the Evo, although the Shovelhead single bolt system was close.....

And As RooDog indicates, you need to use the header to frame clamps in front for proper support ,else the head exhaust spigot wears away.
65512-37A and 65513-58.
The rear crossover on a dual should be held by 65510-61
