I picked up several sealed NOS boxes of delco remy condensers. listed for 1941-48 Chevy 6 cyl They seem to have some corrosion on the outside but hopefully still ok on the inside. Got them from an obsolete auto parts supply.

I bought a 0.22µf 1000v capacitor from Ebay, UK. Landed cost about $18 NZD.
I tried to attach a picture but the website keeps erroring.
However, I made a short writeup with pics here:

Have ridden the bike a couple of times. All seems well. Will keep testing..

the a firm not far from me that supplies top quality condensers as delco fitting ,made to old spec here in ENGLAND
theres another firm making electronic condensers ,, which i am running at this moment BRIGHTSPARKS CONDENSERS ,
so here in England we seem tobe sorting the problem of badly made Chinese replacements ,
