Head repair and machining in SoCal

#1

Post by fredotwowheels »

Hello all, I think this may be my first post but I reference the site often.

I am looking for someone to fix a crack in my rear 48 head, in between fins and make it look original. I had Fast Eddie do some work for me a year ago, it was top notch, but I cannot get ahold of him and I did not get much help as for other suggestions on another forum, can anyone help me out with a direction?

Where I in SoCal you located? If in l.a. Give Phil at KNUCKLEWORKS in Lynwood a call. If in San Diego
TATRO MACHINE may be able to help. Sorry don't have their numbers but I'm sure Google does. Good luck

There's actually some really good repair shops that specifically repair heads from top to bottom in the US , so do some research and send it off . Headhog is one , Mac's , and several more , find one that fits your criteria.

Where you at in so cal, if you have a plumbers torch, and its only a superficial crack, score some HTS-2000.. Stuff works real good.
