I had 2 sets of bars with my basket case. One set was a 2 piece that I think was for a 60's model.
The other set was a one piece with no reinforcement in the center. From what I've read that is the correct one?
I haven't seen replacement parts for this type but I'm hoping someone can send me in the right direction. The outer jacket for both sides need replacing but the inner cables could probably be used.
Also the inner cable is crimped to the internal so I guess that would come with a replacement?
Question 1: is this the correct handlebar?
Question 2: where can I get replacements ?
Thanks

Yes, that's the correct throttle setup. The handlebar spirals and grips have closed ends.
I bought factory-correct control coils (correct name) from Bruce Linsday in Ohio (440) 247-4020. He has sold the wiring harness part of his company, but was still selling control cables in late 2015. It's worth a call, and if he doesn't have the control coils, he will point you in the right direction. You can buy just the outer part if that's all you need.
The 'plungers' I have secure the inner wire with a set screw. I've not seen any that are crimped like yours.

Mine didn't have any springs in them like on my 2 piece bars. Is it suppose to have any?

No Springs, everything that belongs there you have pictured. Do you not have a correct parts book?

Think so. The one I use is orange in color and just says Harley part numbers, I think 48-57.
