I have a dumb question. When pulling the clutch hub is there anything else holding the hub on after removing the left hand nut?
I have successfully pulled one of the 3 threaded bolts out of the hub making my factory clutch hub puller useless. It's either on there tight or I've missed something?
Anyhow my next step is to fabricate a brace that will fit behind the hub and use a standard puller on it while applying heat to the outer hub with a tortch.
I've learned the only truly dumb question is the one not asked?
Anyhow I'm about to get rough. Lol

Re: Pulling the Clutch Hub
It is seated on a taper and can be tough to get loose. the trick is applying tension with the puller and then giving it a sharp rap with a hammer on the puller bolt which usually pops it off. You are beyond that option.

Re: Pulling the Clutch Hub
I've pulled many hubs and did exactly as you said. One thing I have found out about this Harley many things were done differently. I just wanted assurance there was nothing else holding it other than the taper.
Thank you.
