front fender tip 59-67

Post by Stony »

I need a front fender tip for my 1961 pan ..The aftermarket ones I bought are beautiful but 1/4 in. too wide . I have called around looking ( all my usual sources) for a stock tip which is 7" wide ..no luck or huge $$$ if I can get someone to let one go ...Any body else run into this and come up with a solution . I have a nice 1200 style shovel tip (78-79) so I know what size a stock fender takes. I want to reinstall a "V" style tip/ Stony

59216-59 fender tip was used from 59 to 66
There are many reproduction sellers but they all come from vtwin - http://www.jpcycles.com/search/search?N ... 33&Ntk=All
Have your original replated by a chrome shop with recommendations by someone that has used them.
There may be a few nos parts around but will likely sell for $1000 or more.
