59 pan seat assembly questions..
I had to get another t-bar for my buddy seat ( the zerk hit the frame on one of them) so in dissasembling it all I forgot how it goes back together .. theres a heavy metal plate part # 52543-39 ,then theres 2 spring clips ,one heavy #52596-36 and a lighter one #52600-36 Theres the same on the other side too ( of coarse). I'm going to send a photo of them losely dangling on the mounting bracket ,it may be easier to ex[plain iy to me from the photo ..

Thanks for the photo I see the order in which they go ,but where does the t-bar go ,do you have a photo of these mounted on the t-bar? I;m looking at the wear marks on the bar and it looks like its sanwiched between 2 pieces of these parts..?

Many ,Many thanks ,thats very clear how it goes together ,and answers all my questions..I would have never thought it went like that ,but it accounts for the wear marks in places..

Re: 59 pan seat assembly questions..
Panz,
I think you're upside-down. The heavy clip goes on top so that it will support the helper spring bar when there's weight on the seat. In the first set of pictures "UP" is to the right, in the second set with everything assembled the spring clip should be on the bottom. The lighter spring clip goes on the bottom, all it does is hold the bar against the heavier one above it. We had a big thread about this a couple years ago, I'll see if I can find it.

Re: 59 pan seat assembly questions..
here's a link to the big discussion we had about this. I think a lot of the confusion is that the illustration in one of the parts books is misleading, and it also depends on if you have the extra little 90 degree tab on the cross piece. Anyway, the heavy support piece should be above the horizontal helper-spring bar, the lighter spring clip goes below.
