Description: I was pondering putting a 6 volt generator back on
.
I was pondering putting a 6 volt generator back on. The 12 volt needed bigger bolt holes. Would it be better to drill and tap the 6 volt generator for the larger bolts or somehow reduce the cam cover holes. I thought about JB weld, but I think that idea wouldn't work. Weld aluminum and redrill?Any ideas?

Try finding something to use as sleeves. Something in stainless tubing may do the trick. Even brass or copper would work, as the softer metal will not be affected by vibration, once the generator is tightened in place.

That idea sounds like a winner. With it I can have either without a lot of headaches. Thanks
