Cam Question
I'm wondering if anyone can help identify the cam that was in my 1952FL, During my last rebuild I changed to low compression pistons & an Andrews #1 cam hoping it would help the motor run better with today's lousy California gas. The cam I removed has the marking, (U C S ) stamped on the back side of the gear, it also has a hole drilled through the gear just below one of the timing marks. I'm wondering if this was an original stock cam or not? I know some things I found aren't as the flywheels & rods are old S&S so It has me wondering about the cam. Any ideas what the (U C S ) stamp might be?

Re: Cam Question
Never seen one with any of those markings.
The lobe should be about 1.334" (according to Palmer), if it's much less does it appear to be reground (base circle is very close to the shaft OD)?

Re: Cam Question
Haaula Pan!
I haven't a clue, but if you can place it between centers with a dial-indicator upon a lobe, at least then we could conjure a lift.
If you can somehow slip a degree wheel upon it, with a little chin-scratching, and improvisation, , you could even come up with the cam's specs.
