Re: Cam
O K then, what about this one? My friend says the measurements resemble a cam for a 61" HD. Any help? Thanks. Mike

Re: Cam
Pomike,
That cam is not even in the same galaxy as a 61" cam. The number on the end most likely refers to the opening and closing degrees. Open65, close 37. The lobes on a 61 cam are about half that wide!

Re: Cam
Pomike,
Another thing,
That cam is Pan or Shovel. The lobes don't have enough lift for a knuckle rocker ratio!

Re: Cam
OOps. Don't make a mistake on here. I meant to say maybe early Pan, FL? And if you read my post, I said what the numbers were. I asked for help to identify the cam, nothing else. You know, anytime someone asks for help on this, or other forums, I do what I can to help, and there are many people on here who can attest to that. If I have to go to the garage and dig through parts, or books, I am glad to do it. There was one dude on some forum, that kept asking the same, nonsensical questions over and over, and I finally said something about it, but other than that, even if a question or statement does appear wierd to me, I try to keep quiet, becayse, after all, I am not a know it all. Maybe some are, but I still don't have an answer. And yes, I did have a great little ride on my Shovelhead today. Mike
