With much trial and error I finally got my naked STD heads all together. It was one piece of my 58-60 pan puzzle that took more time than I expected. Not like I'm in a hurry.
Before I put the motor back together I was wondering if there is any upgrades that could be done to the oil pump to push more oil through the motor. Any thoughts?

An H-D oil system for the pans was intended to be a low pressure, low volume system. Personally, I see no reason to deviate from that. Updating to a full flow system is a nice touch but not a necessity. If ya just make sure what ya got is working properly, you will be in good shape....bosheff
