oil pump
I took for ride got about 2 miles from my house oillight came then lifters starting to make noise right off the back i knew it was the key i took the bike home took oil pump apart sure enough key way was broke in half this is the second one in two years .Does anyone know what can cause this

Did you rotate the pump as you tightened the fasteners to the case? was there anything in the pump? (scoring?)...Mike
