Yes, more likely oil left tank entered engine, then drained out breather.

I am going to make an effort to start this motor soon. It has not been run for 4 years . Should I be concerned with the crankcase with this wet sump issue and resulting extra pressure or will the pump clear it quick enough? jerry

Put a cookie sheet under your engine and primary.
Kick it for a little while, the oil will push it's way out the breather then go back to normal.
Recheck your oil level in the tank. After that go through the starting procedure.

Jerry--fire her up & whats to much will empty fast enuff!--Sometimes you just gotta run it awhile & let the system even-out!--The most will purge as soon as she lit-up!---Respectfully---RICHIE
