Looks like a catch tank for the crankcase breather. Personally I prefer the drips!
But then again it could be an IED!!

Hello!
I am sorry for not responding all of you who was answering me on this post. I have been sick for a while but feel like i whant to be a little more active now.
The catch that i have made i did because i had so much oil comming out from the crank. I later found out that the problem was that i had the chain dripper not tighten so i did that and problem solved! I did like the catch tanktho, so i kept it an it works rea great.

You would be wise to keep a close eye on your copper oil feed line. They are prone to work-hardening, fatigue, and failure.

No offense. Looks like some kind of a Rube Goldberg contraption. Thing is is. I can start my pan and let it run for several minutes. It will leak out of the breather tube after shut down. Maybe a little sumping going on. But. If I ride it for several miles and park it. It does not leak one drop out of the breather tube. Running belt. Breather vented to ground.
