That is a poor picture but it looks rigid to me. The rigid arm is 5/16 threads at the top which that looks like. It also is slightly longer and has a bend in it that the SA arm does not have. Can you get a picture from above the bracket looking down?

I was watching that one eBay too.

If you're gonna bid on it, I won't. Don't wanna get into a bidding war with another member....

Good luck.

you know, i have one of those on my 50 fl, a friend gave it to me, but the center stud that goes straight thru was stripped out , and i can't get a good replacement the new one i got, was'nt threaded on the bottom , instead it has a grove cut in it for a clip ( i suppose )-- so currently i, am using a set up i made, using a 1/4 x 20 rod threaded into a fine thread 3/8 bolt, so anyway it leaks a bit on the bottom, anyone know where i can get a good center bolt-----------also is that bottom cup piece on the filter where the rod extends out, suppossed to be flat or concaved ---mine is concaved or indented-- so i wonder if thats why it leaks------------------------------------thanks ,tony------------------

The best way to seal the bottom is to make sure you have a nut on the inside positioned so that as the filter body crushes into the top gasket to create a seal the cover hits the nut. Then when you tighten the outer nut the housing can't bend or crush which allows it to leak. Many of the covers are concave at the bottom where they are crushed in. they should be flat and smooth so that a fiber gasket and acorn nut seal them!
