hey guys...received my new set of push rods today and they are bigger around than the original ones...not much but noticeable...still ok to use or did they send the wrong part? states for 48 to 52? first new set I've had to put in in 15 years...just not sure...thanks

Skip -

You may find that they rub the pushrod covers, if too fat. You'll have to install, to see if it will be a problem.

More than likely, yours are aluminum. That in itself is not a problem. I'm assuming that you do not have hydraulic units, so that, combined with the aluminum pushrods, will just make for a bit more noise. They have more of a ring to them.

Hi Skip

like Jack said if they don't rub all will be ok. Remember the push rod covers were designed to accomodate to old "oilcan" hydraulics (48-52) so they are pretty wide.
