Need front cylinder

#1

Post by jbgoodner2 »

I am about to do a top end on my '62 pan, and have searched for a stock,( small as possible bore), to no avail. As badly as I hate to do it, I am considering aftermarket. Any input as to who makes the best ones will be greatly appreciated !!! And, who to stay away from !!!! Of course, if anyone has a stock one they would be willing to part with, that would be best !!!!!! I have a rear that is .020 over and should clean up at .030, so anything close to that would be awesome !!!!! Thanks VERY much, and God Bless !!!!!

Try contacting Bills Custom Cycle In Berwick Pa.
He has tons of stuff.
He might part with one if he's in a good mood.

53 to 62 OEM cylinders show up Ebay often, one with broken fins today but better are coming.
You can convert 48 to 52 cylinders to cylinder wall drain by drilling a hole.
Watch Ebay one will show up.

JB!

Did you frag the one you had?

I don't endorse sleeveing, but only because so many modern providers botch them.
When no shortcuts are taken, the procedure gets expensive.
