pushrod cover seals

#1

Post by Scrap »

Installing new James Gasket Corks on 57FL push rod covers. First time in many years. Don't remember the last set being so tight around the inner tube and in the spring retainer. Should I soak them in oil or add a little grease? I never used gasket sealer on the block or head faces, any opinions?
Thanks
