Front end 45"

i have a '47 wl -- 45 solo. someone told me they thought that the front end was from a servicar, not a solo model. how can i tell the difference?

Servi's (and WLC's) used a fork nearly identical to the bit twins, except for a 7/8" neck stem. In other words, 'outside' rockers, interchangeable wheel, bigtwin brake, axle, etc.
It may not be AMCA correct, but it's a whole lot better, particularlywhen it comes time for hub service, brake service, etc., as the parts are more available, and often cheaper.
