Sorry, but I have to ask the dumbass question of the year........fork length is measured...from where to where? and.........what is the standard length of a pans front end?
(dont suppose I could fit in a question about figuring out rake angle too could I?)
Thanks , and stop laughing ...I can hear you from here!
Haggis.

Re: Fork length
Fork length is always measured from the top of the top tree to axle center. Don't quote me, but I believe stock length is 29 3/4". Not positive on that though.
Just got done raking and streching my 56 Pan. Am 12over FX (FX is 1 3/4 inches longer that FL). Too many variables to answer over the computer; neck height, rake, wheel size, trail, overall length, etc.

Re: Fork length
Hi there! Check out http://www.tolle.se" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, click your way through to "product info" and WHAM! -there is a link to the pdf "how to measure correct trail". Great help to figure out the rake angles. Maybe you can use a rakeable triple tree so you won't have to cut up your original frame? Good Luck!
