Triple Trees

Ok guys 1958 FLH. Do these trees look right for the year. Most of all does the bottom tree look like its been tampered with?

Yes, the bottom tree has been tampered with. As bad as the factory welds sometimes look, they ain't that bad.

Also, I think that is a rigid tree since it is round at the bottom and not oblong. Might have that backwards?

Here's a couple shots of the 1958-59 lower tree I have. More pics available if needed.
From what I recall, it's a two-year part, just 1958 and 59. Changed again in '60.
The one posted above is -60 and later, I believe. Notice the difference in the underside.
