Shocks

Post by PanRider »

When I removed my shocks when breaking down the bike, I found this rubber piece falling out of the place where I bolt it to the frame. What is it and do I need to replace it and if so, how and where would I find this part?

There is no rubber on frame to shock stud mounting, only rubbers on the shock eye to stud mount. Do you have the right studs? The OD of the stud should match the ID of the frame.

It appeared the rubber came out of the shock. I have no reason to doubt the shocks are right for the frame. They seemed to be working well when I had it together.
