Glide Forks

#1

Post by Times Welding »

My '59 DuoGlide has "stock" forks. Sometime before I bought the bike the forks were shortened. I don't know if it was done simply with new springs, or if the tubes have been shortened, or both. How do I find out what the assembled length and the component lengths of the forks should be? I would like to return them to stock.

I believe stock length tubes are 20-1/2" long. I'll double check for you. Springs appear to be about 19-3/4.
