those points with the Allen screw for the dwell are available at NAPA - I got them for my 1961 Impala with a 283 just a few months ago....I have not tried to install them on my pan though. in fact they're still in the box

They won't fit the Pan. The adjustment is just points gap anyway so you can change the "dwell angle" on a Pan by changing points gap. It changes the opening and closing location on the points cam therefore changing the "dwell angle", or the number of degrees of saturation of the coil...
