Fairbanks-Morse built everything from HUGE industrial engines to scales to magnetoes. Morris builds magnetoes .Note that the mag in the picture has a Fairbanks-Morse head.

Is that good or bad with the fairbanks head and the morris bottom? Cold that give problems with cylinder head and reay boss clearens?

Re: Can some one id this magneto?
It looks to be just a regular Morris MM74E, if the relay boss is still there it will have to be removed for any mag except the G-5. I've seen a few that have managed to keep the boss and still be able to time it in the small window between push rods/boss.Pan57Johan wrote:Is that good or bad with the fairbanks head and the morris bottom? It is a Fairbanks-Moorse magneto that has an adapter to put in a 1936-1969 H-D Big Twin OHV.
