Dual Point Question
Put new condensers, spark plugs and points in my '61F and now it won't start. I did everything exactly the way that the manual said . I'm going to triple check the timing tomorrow. Any ideas? Also, do you adjust the hydraulic lifters the same as a shovelhead? I have a gauge to set them 1/8" from the bottom. Thanks guys, Lloyd

Re: Dual Point Question
I assume it ran before the new parts? Check that you dont have a wire out of place or touching ground someplace and you might try setting and test starting on one set of points at a time. I dont think the timing would be an issue unless you put the timer in a tooth off after replacing the condensers. (I've never worked on an original dual-point but you werent getting any other response)
