Re: coil question
5 ohm coil with the auto advance (8.8mm copper core wires) works like a hot damn for me...

Re: coil question
Anyone out there know where to purchase a good 6 volt ignition coil for my 59 Panhead? Just reading about a lot of crappy aftermarket coils on the market. Greatly appreciate any good source where to buy a good coil.
Thanks,

Re: coil question
I got tired of messing with the OEM lookalikes, and just went with a 6 volt round coil, forgot where I got it.

Re: coil question
Thanks Buddha planning to look more in that direction. I have seen a 6 volt round coil by ACCEL but was not specified for a Harley Davidson would that still be ok to install? I’m very particular what I throw on the bike if it’s not a Harley Davidson.

Re: coil question
Buddha will most likely be referring to these 6v dual outlet coils.
Japanese made. Reliable. Been around for quite a while. I used one till I upgraded to 12v. Chrome or black. (Also comes in a 12v option)
Hope this helps.
