6V coils & electronic ignition

Guys,
Trying to find correct information on using a 6v coil and e-beyond 2000.
I read that the electronic ignitions work best with 1.5 to 3 ohms and points with 5 ohms.
So if I have a e-beyond ignition where do I find a stock type 6v coil with 1.5-3 ohms.
I checked the knowledge base for coil and spark topics, got nothing.
Ed at e-beyond says to measure ohms at both coil connections on the sides.
With both wires disconnected at coil mine measures at .001 double checked with another meter. Like no resistance.
Thanks to Ritchie for setting me straight on the e-beyond timing setup.

It's the coils I'm stuck on right now.
Don't want to have any fancy repop stuff or chrome, want to keep it right.

I've run the e-beyond 2000 electronic ignition with my stock 1960 H.D. 6-volt coil for about 8 years now without a single issue. Never even checked the resistance before installing.

I tested two original coils, resistance is 2.5 ohms.
Some ohm meters have multiple settings (like mine), use low setting for low resistance.
Electronic ignition systems replace the mechanical switch (points) with an electronic switch for turning the coil on and off, reliability is an issue of debate.

Jerry you pointed me in the right direction with a multiple setting ohm meter.
My ohm meter is just an ohm meter and it won't work in this case.
I measure at 3.1 ohms so I should be in good shape.
