Correct pipes for a 74" pan

What are the correct pipes to run on a 74" pan?

When you use the word "correct", most will understand that to mean factory original. Or at least repops that are as close as possible. Try Kick-Start Mcy Parts.
If you mean the best performing, (and will still go around a corner without dragging), then it would be the factory duals. The closest repops are Paughco's, athough their pre-65' offering is butt ugly on the left side.
There's a gazillion 'performance" exhausts available,.. but if you cannot take a righthand corner fast, what good are they?

Yeah do that...make Chuck get up and move away from that pot-belly stove and find you a 2 into 1, but he only has pipes & mufflers for rigid Pans. For '58 up, you'll need to visit a Custom Chrome catalog or go "ride the range" with (V-Twin) aka Zoom Cycle. http://www.zoomcyclellc.com
Consider a "Mello-Tone"® Replica barrel (aka Cigar) muffler for that genuine H-D sound. '50-57 (VT 30-0189) or '58-66 (VT 30-0220) made by DCC.

Yes, you are right. I mean best for performance on a bobbed chopper with a '51 motor. Baffles, straight? It is kick start as well. Noise is good, performance is better.

Sure...baffles in shotguns are good. V-Twin has 4' long baffles for 1-3/4" (stock dia.) straight pipes. (VT 30-0102) or 8" long X 1-3/4" baffles (VT 30-0216).

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea what these "true" dual Paughco repops cost ???
