Interior pipe blueing protectant

Anyone use this stuff on their head pipes ??
I was thinking about putting dual Paughco head pipes on my Pan and was wondering about the anti blueing stuff that you coat the interior of the pipes with. Does the stuff work ??
I`m interested in recommendations if ya care to throw yer 2 cents in.

I used custom chrome dyno kote. Works good.
Had timing a little late,and burnt the pipes. That wasmy fault,worked good 'till then.
Blue Job works real well for taking the blue off.

I used black engine heat paint on the inside of the pipes. Spray them real good and let dry, then do it again. Works only on new pipes. Worked prity good for me and its cheep.

I have been told (haven't done it but plan on it) to paint the insides with high heat silver paint bake like you would the cylinders and then do it again, I plan on trying it but if anyone has I'd like to know also.

The metal has to be cleeeeeeaaaannnn, first of all. In other words, new.
I used some stuff like clay, sold by Custom Chrome, as I recall. Got it from J&P. A powder you mix with water. Silica? My pipes haven't blued. I guess anything that acts as a heat insulator will reduce the amount of heat that gets transferred from the hot gases into the metal of the pipes, making more of the heat go out the end of the pipes where it should.
Over all, I'm glad I coated the pipes. If only because it would be bugging me now that I hadn't.

A shop told me the other day that they pour black paint into new head pipes and let'em dry before they install them. They believe that the thick covering turns to carbon or something like that and protects them from bluing.
Can you buy high temp. paint in quarts ??
I might try it when I put the new head pipes on.

I had some Samson dual fishtails on a Heritage that I coated, and cured it by starting it for a few moments and shutting it off till cool.
I started it for longer and longer periods until I was satisfied.
They never discolored in the three years I ran them on it.
