Stock pipes on 51

#1

Post by Panacea »

Hi guys, I finally got my two into one pipes from Paughco and noticed after putting them on the bike that the center stand will hit the cigar muffler if I swing it down. I have the big muffler clamp on the outside of the frame tab but it still hits. Am I missing something? Not a big deal but some clearance would be nice. I suppose I could put a spacer behind the clamp but the "Y" pipe already pushes the kicker spring out a bit. They sure look good though! Mike

I don't know personally, but I think this has been discussed. May be it was King???? I believe the muffler supports on one side had to be flipped over.
