exhaust nipple repair

any advice on best way to repair broken and wore out exhaust nipples on 58 panheads ?

They have weld in replacements , JP cycle part # 620-171 Kibblewhite Exhaust spigot for 48-65 Panhead, 7.99 each, Vtwin ,I'm sure has them too

Stroker, if you want excellent quality work done, send em to HeadHog. He is definitely "the man" when it comes to old heads. He did mine and they are truely better than factory.

I can vouch for HeadHog, too. I sent him a set of 48 heads, a good while back. He reworked the inlet nipples, and replaced the exhaust flanges. Both looked better than new. The exhaust flanges looked like original casting.

THANKS evrey one think i will try the weld on. do the old ones need to be machind out or hand cut flush ? i will have local shop do the welding
