Linkert M74B spring below throttle lever

When I started the bike after purchase I noticed that I have to push back the throttle numerous times
to achieve a low idle. After maybe some 20 sec idling the speed increased suddenly and I`ve had to push back the throttle again

Now after I have replaced the bushings putting it back together. Once I put that little spring 27291 below the throttle lever , the shaft will be pushed up of course and then I have that hardly noticeable bind of the throttle plate again.
Do I take the spring out the throttle plate closes without any bind smoothly.

I`m not really sure about the purpose of that spring? Does it stabilize the throttleplate once the engine is running?
With that push-to-open throttle cable I just don`t get it
Someone can enlighten me please ?

Sometimes the cable of the throttle has kink[s], which prompt the exact behavior your writting about,
just a option.

The spring keeps the butterfly floating and not wearing upon the body.

i cast my vote with Mr. Budda sounds like its time to clean and grease spiral assembly. and maybe take right tank off and inspect cable routing and clip to frame maybe loose letting cable move and not the inner wire

Try moving the throttle arm up on the throttle shaft, so that there is less compression of the spring.

I compressed the spring with two long nose pliers, so making it a bit shorter (quite tough that lil spring LOL) and as awander said I didn`t push down the lever onto the shaft all the way. No more bind. I did not want to cut/shorten that spring cause each end has a perfect 360 degrees winding so to push flat and not crooked. . The book says it is an anti-wear spring ... IMHO that spring is very strong so it will push, force the throttle plate into the carb body. I did not hone or flexhone that bore cause the venturi is tight as a rock. I can feel a notch where the plate makes contact with the bore: In 10 and 4 o`clock.
I will leave it like this, see how it works. Of course I`ll be checking the throttle cable as you told me
