Linkert choke lever/rod plating

#1

Post by 3711 »

Hi guys!
Need to order the Linkert parts (including a top motor mount with choke angle) to complete installation on my 1952FL. The question in my mind is the plating or paint used to be "correct". (generally I'm not into "correctness" but if I'm ordering why not try to be "correct" even though someone will tell me it's NOT CORRECT!)....just wondering....thanks!....walt....tulsa,ok

The top motor mount, choke lever and linkage rod are all cad plated. It gets a little more complicated when you get into the washers and nuts on the motor mount studs. Went through all this recently doing the restoration of my own '52 FL.
