Linkert M main tube
When replacing the main tube does the direction of the side holes matter? The main tube has a square half way up and looks like it could lock in a certain way round.

Re: Linkert M main tube
Per this thread, Linkert main nozzle, it doesn't matter. The holes in the main nozzle are inside the carb stem, which is filled with gas up to the level of the float in the float bowl. So gas will be sucked into the the main nozzle independent of which direction the holes point. It's sort of like if you're in a rowboat. If you drill a hole in the bottom of the boat, it doesn't much matter if you drill the hole in the bow or the stern. Water will still come into the boat.bloodyjack wrote:When replacing the main tube does the direction of the side holes matter?
