Hot Relay!
Got a hot relay on a '48 Panhead FL. Dead on! according to diagram. Any advice would be helpful. I originally posted this under the "projects" forum and received some good feedback but thought I would post here as well to see if this is a common problem with old Pans and just get some veteran advice.

Re: Hot Relay!
Whotee!
Electrics isn't my field,
but it the relay itself gets hot, then current must be passing through it continuously.
Does the battery discharge while sitting?
I would first inspect the contact points to see if they are stuck, and probably dress them with a tungsten file.
Good luck!
