I JUST GOT A VW 12 VOLT REG FOR MY 64 PAN WENT THROUGH 2 SQUARE SOLID STATE ONES AND 2 END CAP REGS ALL WORK GOOD FOR A FEW MOUNTHS THEN CRAP OUT SAW THIS ONE ON A BIKE GUY SAID BEEN ON THERE FOR 2 YRS HE MOVED BEFOR I GOT TO DRAW WIREING

Before you get too excited,
VW regulators are preset for a much higher output than a Bosch for a motorcycle. It will cook your battery in no time. If they worked right everyone would have one since they are cheap. But they don't!

DF=F on Gen
D+=A on Gen
B+=Battery
61= not used, or wire it to the idiot light
All Bosch regulators have the same posts.
