Re: NEEDED H-2 6 VOLT BATTERY
here's a link to a thread we had 2 years ago, scroll up to the top of the thread, there's a link to where I bought it. The "red-top" KOYO is still doing fine in my '47.

How about this? Search for H2 when you get there.

Re: NEEDED H-2 6 VOLT BATTERY
The first one pictured on the Interstate site looks just
like the same battery that Ted sells, made in India, POS!

MSRP US $69.95
I guess the MOCO still cares about keeping the old bikes on the road. (at least this tiny bit).
I see they still have the EVO motor rebuild program too. Just think, first EVO in 84. Thats almost 30 years ago. Just think of buying a 65 pan , and being able to send it in for a factory rebuild in 1992.

Re: NEEDED H-2 6 VOLT BATTERY
The Dealer batteries are made in India. Yuasa is the only battery I put in my bike after my fiasco with different crappy Chinese, Vietnamese and Indian batteries. Yuasa's are made in Japan.

Re: NEEDED H-2 6 VOLT BATTERY
I don't think Yuasa has made a 6 volt H-2 style battery in 10 or 15 years.

Re: NEEDED H-2 6 VOLT BATTERY
I used to use the Interstate H-2 batteries, but a few years ago they told me they stopped making them, that's when I went to the dealer. It looks like Interstate is making them again? Or perhaps I was told wrong a few years ago.....

Re: NEEDED H-2 6 VOLT BATTERY
I forgot to mention, I switched to 12v due to the quality of 6v battery quality.
